Licensing information
EULA (End-User License Agreement)
Detailed conditions of use for Typotheque fonts are described in our EULA.
Types of licences
Why should you buy licenses of our fonts for more computers?
A font is software which needs to be licensed properly. Besides the illegality of using fonts on more computers than you have licenses for, there are several other issues. Typotheque produces and sells high quality original fonts; the design, production and programming of these digital typefaces is an extremely time-consuming process, taking several months of full-time development by skilled individuals. We are a micro font foundry dedicated to providing our customers with the best typefaces and services possible, and we accomplish this by our own efforts and with the help of hired freelancers. It is only by ensuring that our products are properly licensed, and by attempting to eliminate the practice of font piracy, that we can continue to create original new typefaces.
Our work is a labour of love, but it is also our livelihood. That is why we take font licensing very seriously. We would prefer to spend more time developing new typefaces, and less time worrying if our fonts are being stolen. We only ask for a fair return on the energy we put into our fonts, and hopefully this page explains our font licensing policies. Should you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact
.
We thank you for your support and for your consideration in obtaining proper site licenses for the use of our fonts.
Order methods
On-line ordering is the easiest and quickest way to receive our fonts, avoiding shipping costs. However if you prefer fax, phone or mail for placing your order, please see the alternative payment methods.
